At work today I got an email from “the Sky Factory” asking if I’d be available to check out their SkyMobile showroom next week. These are so cheesy! Especially the “windows.” The only cool option would be a full night sky, but even that seems a bit much.

Ta Da. Not quite as detailed as last year’s death star pumpkin. But this is what I came up with for this year’s 3rd annual pumpkin carving contest/ party. It’s a scary tree with a graveyard below. There’s also a full moon off to the right side. Not to shabby for free hand carving.

Last Thursday I gave a talk for part of an industry conference at Hotel Monaco. If you haven’t gone down to check out the lobby you should. It’s been restored beautifully.
